Meeting More of Your Needs in 2009

Happy New Year. We hope you've enjoyed the holiday season and had an opportunity to recharge your batteries. The new year presents greater challenges than many of us have faced in the past… and we're ready up to help you!

Insanity, according to Einstein, is expecting different results when you do the same thing over and over again. We've been engaging in our own "creativity and innovation" sessions to build new programs to improve your presentation related activities so you can expect better results!

In addition to adding expanding our team (see last newsletter for article on Robert Reiss, a sales and customer service maven who hosts The CEO Show), we will be helping you to:

  • Produce More Compelling Customer-Centric Presentations. If you've been reading our recent newsletters, you've read how we're sharpening our clients' sales and investor presentations to close more deals and do so more quickly by energizing your customers to want what you offer rather than your competitors' offerings and, not just listen politely to your presentation. You'll hear more about our techniques in our workshops, on-on-one consulting
  • Offer a new Negotiations Skills Workshop. We plan to introduce this new workshop based on a new MBA course that Dr. Cahn is teaching for CUNY. Its focus is on building strategies that create more value in the negotiation process. This will help sales people avoid the "How low can you go on this commodity" conversation and also gain more value from the business relationship, including up-selling referrals, etc. Like our Present Like A Pro Workshop, we will offer both Corporate and Public workshops.
  • Introduce a powerful new training technology to help Sales Stars become SuperStars through a joint venture called ExtraOrdinary Sales Performance. In addition to the intensive coaching and skills training program (see box on right), ExSP will be available for keynote and seminar appearances.
  • Enable leaders and would-be-leaders to more effectively connect with other leaders, through Leader Connections. It's the top executive who makes buying decisions. If you're looking to expand your business, in the US, China or elsewhere, build new strategic relationships, find a new job, or get funding for a new venture, you need to know the right leader to connect with, and then communicate powerfully your brand value to that person! The art and science of such connections – meeting the right people, giving them a value and partnering with them for future successes, is what Leader Connections teaches through workshops, and consulting services.

  • Goal: What do you want to influence your audience to do?
  • Audience Readiness: What do they want to hear and what don’t they want?
  • Context: How do the time, place, technology, and players affect your ability to connect with the audience?
  • Presentation: Is your PowerPoint and speech engaging and compelling?
  • Speaker: Will your authenticity and passion come across, so the audience likes and trusts you? Is your enthusiasm and power infectious – to motivate audience action?
